Gibbons website is up then down

This week, Jon Ralston, (Las Vegas Sun) discovered Gibbons’ new but short-lived campaign website and soon after it went live, it went down because of spelling and grammatical errors. Darn, I didn’t get a look at it before it went away.

I visited the web address, http://www.jimgibbonsgovernor2010.com and found the domain name was forwarded to CampaignSecrets.com. Gibbons campaign manager said the website will be ready next week.

CampaignSecrets promises it will only help Republican political campaigns and offers a handful of tools including website development, newsletters and donation collections via CampaignCashCow.com  (Just love that name)  I am looking forward to seeing an active Gibbons re-election website to find out how he will spin things. It will be very interesting!

We already know the truth about him but don’t expect much of that on his website.

Oh yeah .. CampaignSecrets.com has a very annoying pop-up called “Campaign Hot Tips” that attempts to mine for names and email information with a promise of a free newsletter.

State Republicans should be very afraid“, Jon Ralston, LV Sun, July 15, 2009

Gibbons launches campaign Web site, then takes it down“, Anjeanette Damon, Reno Gaz Jr, July 14, 2009
